Proposal Research Specialist
Location: Columbia, MD (100% On-Site)
Pay Rate: $20 - $25 per hour based on experience
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM
About the Role:
A client of Ultimate Staffing is seeking a Proposal Research Specialist to join their growing team in Columbia, MD. This is a newly created role where you'll play a key part in identifying and analyzing RFP (Request for Proposal) opportunities to support sales and proposal teams. Key Responsibilities:
Research and identify relevant RFPs, bids, and contracting opportunities that align with company services.
Monitor government, corporate, and industry-specific procurement portals for new opportunities.
Analyze RFP requirements to assess feasibility and strategic fit.
Collaborate with the sales and proposal teams to communicate potential opportunities.
Maintain an organized database of RFPs, submission deadlines, and key details.
Track industry trends and competitors' bidding strategies to refine research methods.
Qualifications & Skills:
Experience in research, proposal development, or sales support.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess complex RFP requirements.
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
Proficiency in procurement databases and online research tools.
Ability to collaborate with sales, marketing, and proposal teams.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Self-starter with the ability to work independently.
